My Law Firm Internet Marketing Routine

Before I opened up my law firm, practicing criminal defense and DUI defense, I knew that I had to overcome one major hurdle to be successful – I had to get clients. I knew that without clients I would have no income, and with no income I would have no business.
When I talked to people about getting clients, they all told me some of the same things. Put your name in the yellow pages; advertise in church bulletins, etc., etc. But I knew that paper advertising was a dinosaur in today’s marketing arena. I knew this because I just thought about where I went when I needed help with something – I went to the internet.
My law firm internet marketing efforts didn’t start by going to some self-proclaimed expert on the subject, or someone who called claiming they could get me high on Google (there are a bunch of those people). No, I went somewhere that I thought I could learn how to really do it. I went to the internet marketers out there. See, there is this whole subculture of people that make money by creating information on the internet and then advertising on it. It’s sort of like there are a limitless number of highway billboards out there for advertising, all you have to do is build the billboard and get people to drive down your road.
Anyway, I quickly learned that the best way to go about law firm internet marketing was to create a lot of votes for my site in the way of back links, or links from other place to my site. So I started doing that.
And we are finally to the subject of the article, my daily routine for my law firm marketing efforts. It’s not rocket science, it’s just elbow grease. What I do every day is this: for each of my sites (I have two) I go out and I write one article and point it to the main page and I write one article and point it to the subpages of my website. That means every day I write four articles.
That’s right, I write the articles. That does two things. It helps me to know they are of good quality (people will read them) and it makes me feel good to accomplish something like that. It takes me about an hour and a half each day (20 minutes an article) and it helps immensely.
So, if you are starting a law firm or interested in learning about how to get some internet exposure for your law firm for free, you’re welcome, because I just showed you how.
If you want Google search engine exposure for your web presence for cheap, you don’t have to hire or be an SEO expert. All you have to do is learn the fundamental and practice the fundamentals. In no time you’ll be able to show Google that your site is an authoritative site on your subject matter and that people can be helped by going there. Good luck!
